Our Story
Ocean Drive Leather (Studio) was founded by brothers Darryl and Keith Christensen, who share a passion for leatherwork, artistry, and a love for storytelling. Over the years, we have grown from a small bespoke shop into a leading provider of costume design and fabrication services for the global film industry. Our team combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, ensuring every costume is made with attention to detail, durability, and the specific requirements of each production. Darryl Christensen is the driving force behind Oceandrive Leather's client relations, business development, and sales strategy. His combined expertise in both the business and technical aspects of costume fabrication allows him to oversee projects from start to finish, fostering strong relationships with industry professionals. Darryl’s unique ability to balance business acumen with production knowledge has been key to the company’s growth and success in the film industry.
Keith Christensen
Co-Founder & Head of Design
With a background in high fashion design, fashion illustration, and character design, Keith Christensen brings over 25 years of artistic experience to Oceandrive Leather. Keith is the creative visionary behind many of the company’s most iconic designs, blending his love for high-end bespoke leather garments with his talent for crafting intricate and screen-ready costumes. Known for his detailed fashion illustrations and exceptional craftsmanship, Keith’s work spans from custom leather apparel to highly detailed supersuits and specialty costumes. His passion for character design and fashion is reflected in every piece he creates, making him a trusted partner for costume designers around the globe.
